Serviceberry
Serviceberries, also known as Juneberries, shadbush, or saskatoons, produce sweet, blueberry-like fruits that are perfect for pies, jams, or fresh eating. Native to North America, these dwarf varieties grow 5-7 feet tall and wide, thriving in full sun or partial shade with well-drained, slightly acidic soil. These bushes are visually stunning, with white spring flowers, fall color, and edible berries that ripen in early summer.
