Silk Road Bazaar represents marginalized artist groups located in Central Asia. They connect with artists who are far from the capitals, who have limited market access, and who do not possess modern marketable skills but have carried on traditional craft culture. They help women artisans in Kyrgyzstan become self-sustainable by developing their designs, management techniques, quality control and computer skills. All designs and collaborations are original works of Central Asian artists and Silk Road Bazaar.
Online orders are fulfilled on Wednesdays. Orders placed after 6AM EST on Wednesdays will ship the following week. If you have any questions about products or about your order and/or shipping times, please email shop@thetrustees.org.
All orders ship via USPS (Ground Advantage, Priority or First Class mail), depending on weight, size, and shipping location. A confirmation email and shipment tracking email will be sent to the address used to place the order.
