Grape hyacinth (Muscari aucheri ‘Ocean Magic’) – Can’t make up your mind which shade of grape hyacinth to plant? This selection packs in multiple hues - deepest blue at the base, softening as the flowers rise along the raceme, culminating in a froth of white flowers at the tip. These lovely flowers rise from low, strap-like green leaves on 6-8” stems. They are perfectly at home on the edge of a garden border, intermingled among shrubs and low ground covers, or naturalized in grass which is where they are found in the alpine meadows of Turkey. Plant in clusters, 4-5” deep in a sunny location, with well-drained soil.
Desc: 3” Spikes of flowers are deep blue at base, lighter blue in the middle and white at the tip
