Summer Snowflake (Leucojum aestivum ‘Gravetye Giant’) named after the famed Gravetye Manor home of naturalistic designer William Robinson. Grows 18-24” tall and flowers in mid-late spring with pendulous white flowers sporting petals accented with a touch of green. This cultivar is a robust version of the straight species which is native to central Europe and the Mediterranean. As with so many of the spring flowering bulbs it is beneficial to allow the foliage to die back on its own without cutting prematurely or braiding the leaves.
Desc: Early season daffodil with white petals and yellow trumpet fading to cream.
