Goumi berry
Goumi is a hardy shrub that produces nutrient-packed, red, tangy-sweet berries high in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C. It grows to about 6-8 feet in height and spread and thrives in full sun to partial shade. This resilient plant is drought-tolerant and offers silver, willow-like leaves, giving it visual appeal in addition to edible fruit. Though it is closely related to invasive autumn olive, goumi spreads more slowly and its roots fix nitrogen, making it a welcome addition to your garden.
