We are excited to announce our Powisset Farm summer vegetable shares are now available for pickup by Hale’s Family and Community Program Season Passholders at our partner’s location:

Hale Education—South Entrance

Pickup is located at the South Beach Garden

A very limited number of these special 8-week shares are only available to our passholders, and only while the Family and Community Program is in session.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members receive a seasonal share of organic vegetables grown at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA. CSAs are a perfect fit for everyone looking for: 

  • Fresher and more flavorful produce 

  • A lower price for local, organic vegetables 

  • A reason to try new foods and eat more veggies 

  • A way to support your local farm 

CSA members commit to picking up these shares weekly at Hale on Wednesdays between Noon and 6:00 p.m. from July 1 to August 19 (8 weeks). Each pickup usually contains 7–9 different vegetables. Typically, a share is enough for a family of 3–4, so individuals or couples may wish to split a share with a friend.

You must be enrolled in Hale’s Family and Community Program to purchase and pick up these shares, and these shares can only be picked up at Hale. You may not change your pickup location or pick your own produce at Powisset Farm. Shares are perishable. To prevent spoilage and to avoid attracting wildlife, any shares not picked up by 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays will be given away to friends and neighbors. Refunds and replacements for unclaimed shares are not available.

Important CSA Information
  • The email you use to purchase your share is the email you will receive all communications from us from. Please use an email address you check often and ensure you aren’t marking Trustees emails as spam, using a filtered inbox, or unsubscribing from Trustees emails.  
  • Pick-ups start no later than the second week of June. Please check your email and/or the website as we get closer to June for the exact start date.  
  • Please note that our CSAs are not eligible for any additional discounts beyond the Trustees member price. Trustees members receive a discounted price of $285 for the Hale share. Apply discount code HALE_MEMBERCSA at checkout.
  • If you would like pay in installments, contact us at powissetcsa@thetrustees.org to discuss split payment options. We are happy to work with you to accommodate what you need!

All orders ship via USPS (Ground Advantage, Priority or First Class mail), depending on weight, size, and shipping location. A confirmation email and shipment tracking email will be sent to the address used to place the order.
