*Please note, these are 1 year old saplings, only 5-7" tall and will not fruit for several years. Paw Paw's leaf out very late in the season, at pickup it may still look winter dormant*
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Shade
Water: Medium to Wet
Height: 15' - 30'
Width: 15' - 30'
Bloom: April to May
Notes: Showy maroon flowers early in the growing season with vibrant yellow fall foliage make this native tree a must in the home landscape. Better still, it produces copious amounts of edible fruits that are described as tasting like a banana mango custard. The fruits don't travel well and ripen quickly so this is not a fruit readily found at market. All the more reason to plant one at home! Do note that these trees are only about one year old and it will take several more years before they begin to fruit, fortunately they're a worthy addition simply for the flowers and fall foliage!
