The original leather and gold cover that inspired our Carmine 5-Year Snapshot Journal was likely meant to become a part of French clergyman Michel de Marolles’ famed collection of engravings and prints. However, de Marolles died before this binding of L’Office de la Semaine Sainte was completed.
