Every autumn Monarch butterflies begin the long journey to their overwintering grounds in the southern US and Mexico. It's quite the feat for a small creature to fly thousands of miles and each individuals lifespan is so short that they can't make the whole trip by themselves; instead it takes several generations, so why not help them out and plant some of their favorite food sources? This kit includes three perennials in their own quart pots and are fall blooming favorites of Monarchs as well as many other pollinators.

Notes: Showy purple flowers really pop in fall. The perfect native alternative to Mums. Very popular with a variety of pollinators including butterflies. Good cut flower. Plant this and your backyard will be pollinator central!
