Tulip Ballade
Circa 1953, this award-winning lily-flowering tulip, has sculpted reddish-magenta petals highlighted with high contrast ivory-white edges. When fully open on a sunny day, its interior, white-edged yellow base lights up the garden. Ballade usually opens darker reddish-magenta and matures to a brighter, somewhat fluorescent, magenta with crisp white edges that eventually turn pinkish-white.
Plant: 4-6 bulbs/foot
Height: 22"
$18 per 10 bulbs of the same variety.
